A PreK-12 Seventh Day Adventist Educational Oration

Dwight Morgan

Vienna Adventist Academy admits students of any gender, race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, national, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, scholarship programs, or any other school-administered program.

Vienna has been established primarily for the youth of the Seventh-day Adventist church. Students who come from a non-Seventh-day Adventist background may be accepted if space is available and if they agree to live by Vienna's mission statement and our policies. Vienna is not equipped to meet the needs of students with serious behavioral or academic problems. We would suggest that those students seek educational institutions that are able to meet those needs.

Elementary Program

The elementary program at Vienna Adventitst Academy is based on a developmental philosophy. It is our desire to help children grow spiritually, mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally. This development takes time and endeavors to show the student the love of God. This, in turn, gives the student the opportunity to love and serve God as well as the opportunity to love and serve others. "Higher than the highest human thought can reach is God's ideal for His children. Godliness - God likeness - is the goal to be reached.

Elementary education also lays the foundation for future learning much like the building of a strong house. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6). Education is a partnership between the parent, the school, and the church.

We look forward to working with parents in the education of children.

Junior High Program

Vienna Adventist Academy Junior High encourages students to seek Christ as their personal Savior, exists to provide a challenging learning environment, promotes high expectations, integrates moral values, expands knowledge through critical thinking, and establishes courage to enable students to act on their beliefs. Our purpose is to respond to the world’s need for students to make “intelligent choices guided by eternal principles.”

Vienna Adventist Academy nurtures students to be capable and responsible citizens who love God supremely and live a balanced spiritual, mental, physical, and social life which allows them to serve God and humanity with passion and excellence. Our school exists to provide a Christ-centered environment where students and staff are challenged to:

  • Love and Serve Their Creator Redeemer
  • Value Themselves and Others
  • Respect Diversity
  • Think Critically
  • Take Responsibility for Their Choices

We promote academic excellence, fosters spiritual values, cultivates social skills, and encourages development of physical talents.
